WEDDING SKETCHBOOK is my wedding planning story told in real time. The first entry starts in November 2008 before I had even begun the planning process, and I hope to keep writing until every detail is set and I have my actual wedding (spring 2010, who knows at this point?)
As an artist/designer, I usually scribble drawings and ideas down in a small sketchbook that I carry with me. I hope that this blog can act as a digital wedding sketchbook for myself, my friends, and anyone else who is interested.

Since brides and grooms and readers from near and far follow your blog, I wanted to share with you this new, fun, free application for media sharing. Kaptur is a fresh perspective on how to capture and relive favorite wedding memories and we were recently featured on Mashable! We think Kaptur would be perfect for A Wedding Sketchbook and its followers, and you too, of course!
Kaptur is free, easy and, if we don’t say so ourselves, AWESOME!
Kaptur (http://weddings.kaptur.com/) organizes pictures taken by friends and family from someone’s wedding. It is a Facebook application that creates ONE wedding album of pictures from the attendees—it instantly imports photos uploaded to Facebook, Flickr, and other file sharing websites. All the bride or groom has to do to is go to the Kaptur website, sign in with Facebook or email address and enter the wedding date.
After, the couple will be able to click on any or all of the friends and family who attended (or those who will be attending the wedding) and Kaptur will compile all of the pictures they took in chronological order onto a personal wedding website!
The Bride and Groom then chose to give whomever they’d like access to view the pictures. In addition, they will be able to print any of these pictures onto a personalized thank you card to send to friends and family for FREE!
It’s really easy to use and a great way to compile ALL of the pictures that were taken the day of the wedding.
